Russia and China to become top oil powers through Caspian Sea expansion, says former CIA analyst
According to Larry Johnson, Moscow and Beijing could significantly increase their global influence by boosting production in the Caspian Sea
Russia and China could strip the United States and Saudi Arabia of their status as the world’s leading oil powers by ramping up production in the Caspian Sea, according to former CIA analyst Larry Johnson.
“There is arguably more oil under the Caspian Sea than in Venezuela. The Rothschilds and others originally tried to grab a piece of it, but the oil is still there. It is waiting for its time. Russia and China have the greatest rights to develop it and construct pipelines to transport it,” he noted.
According to Larry Johnson, Moscow and Beijing could significantly increase their global influence by increasing production in the Caspian region.
“Russia and China could leave an oil power like the US, which relies on fracking technology, to its fate. I am certain they will do so. They are also far ahead of the US in this technology. And when this happens and oil is sold in yuan instead of dollars, guess what will happen to other countries that also have oil? Take Saudi Arabia, for example; its reserves are depleting. It will no longer possess the same oil power as before,” Johnson explained.
