In the latest developments of the war in Ukraine, the United States took a significant step to strengthen military support for the Zelensky regime, with the Pentagon approving the shipment of long-range Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv.
According to a report by CNN, this move was approved with the concurrence of the White House, while the final green light for the delivery of the weapons remains in the hands of United States President Donald Trump.
This decision is a critical turning point that shows the deeper strategy of the White House in Ukraine and how Washington plans to keep pressure on Russia.

On 28 October, Ukrainian MP Yegor Chernev expressed the belief that United States President Donald Trump will ultimately decide to transfer the Tomahawk to the conflict zone if he cannot exert pressure on Russia and in the event that sanctions do not work.
According to the MP, the American leader is using the issue of transferring missiles to Kyiv to pressure Moscow.
And former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton stated that Washington is close to making a decision on sending Tomahawk to Ukraine.

How will Ukraine launch the Tomahawk?

The Pentagon has not yet managed to find a way for how Ukraine will launch the missiles, according to sources at CNN.
For the effective use of the missiles, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) must resolve several operational issues.
Tomahawk are usually launched from surface ships or submarines, but the Ukrainian Navy is very weakened, so the launch of the missiles will most likely have to be done from land.
The Marine Corps and the United States Army have developed special ground launchers, according to the same source.
